Job Description

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support a busy and well-established GP practice in Paignton. This is a great opportunity for an NP looking for flexible and well-paid locum work in a supportive primary care setting.

As a Locum NP, you will be responsible for seeing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of patient conditions, providing face-to-face consultations, prescribing medications, and working closely with GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care.

This role offers up to 4 days a week, and multiple locum NPs can be considered if required.

Job Requirements:
Qualified Nurse Practitioner (NP) with relevant postgraduate training.
V300 Independent Prescribing qualification.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a primary care setting (GP surgery, urgent care, or walk-in centre).
Confident in working autonomously and making independent clinical decisions.
Experience in chronic disease management, minor illness, and urgent care.
Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne, or Vision (training available if required).
Enhanced DBS check required (or willingness to obtain one).
Working Days and Hours:
Up to 4 days a week (flexible schedule).
Available shifts: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or full-day shifts.
No weekend work required, but additional sessions may be available.
